Mothers’ Union


Mothers’ Union is an international Christian membership charity that aims at demonstrating the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide; working towards promoting stable marriage, family life and the protection of children through praying, enabling and campaigning.
This organ is firmly rooted in a voluntary ethos centered on mutual respect and collaboration. Its governance, leadership and programs are undertaken and driven by members within their own communities worldwide.
The vision of Mothers’ Union is of a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships. This is not a vague hope, but a goal that is actively pursued by praying, campaigning and enabling.
The Union seeks to promote the wellbeing of families through tackling conditions that negatively impact on family life, uphold values of Christian marriage and build up family members in Christian faith, the strategic plan for the delivery of services is delivered from the strategic objectives which are divided into three categories.
- Deepening spiritual life of members
- Capacity building of the members
- Compassionate and outreach programs
In order to fulfill these strategic objectives, the union has four departments under which each lady falls and has a role.
