YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT

We are not accidents. Situations have brought regrets in our lives that have made some of us think that we are accidents. As children of God, we are living lives not because that they are mistakes but because God has a purpose for each and every one of us.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you, I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” This scripture reminds us of something important that even before we were born, God knew us. God created us in the exact measure we were supposed to be. Adam was put in the garden of Eden for a purpose.

Man’s intentions have always been to live in their purpose. Many times we have lived conflicting ways, living in different directions in comparison to that which God created us to be. Each and every day we should remember that we have a God given purpose. Our regrets will always raise above us because we have chosen our own ways of living and not the ways of the Lord.

As parents many times we have spoken against our children that maybe they were born by chance. We are not created out of lack. We are what we are because God thought about us before bringing us to earth.

Psalms 138:8 says, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” The Lord faithfully created us and therefore He will fulfill His purpose for us.

Psalm 139:15 says, “My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.” God knows us inside out. God knows our hearts in our bodies and knows that He created us from nothing to something.

Questions have always risen out of our minds for example, why are certain people behaving the way they are? Is that how they are supposed to be? God places us in the different positions that we are in.

In Acts 17:26, God made man and from every man He made a nation. God had a plan for man. We are suffering and going through what we are going through because we have failed to seek God and failed to understand what He wants us go do as His children. There is nothing that we are going through that is a mistake but it is all because of God’s purpose. Life becomes harder if we decide to take it our own way without God.

We need to pray for God’s guidance that we move in the right direction this year. Let us live to the right purpose of the Lord. It doesn’t matter the indifference amongst us. God openly know our parents. We are a genetic makeup of our parents whom God has blessed us with.

We are reminded to use our tongues wisely at the end of the day. Are we living according to the society or according to God? The words that have been spoken to us have nurtured the way we live because we haven’t come to a place of knowing that God has a purpose for each one of us.

Why are we living a life of survival? It is because we have failed to know the times and seasons. Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time and season for everything in our lives. If we seek to understand our times and seasons from our creator, we shall live peaceful within the time that God has ordained for us on this earth. God formed has for us to inhabit the earth.

Isaiah 45:18 says, “For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it, who did not create it in vain, who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and there is not other.”

Isaiah 45:18 explains why God did this for man. We were created as a special object of God’s love. God made us so that He could love us and if we know this, we shall get to live our lives on the other side of the truth and stop living in denial.

It is not by accident that we are living, that we were born and that we were brought into this world at a cost and the cost is Jesus Christ. If God was not there, it would be accidental that we live.

God wants us to live within but we decide to take it in our own thinking and not according to the plans of God. In everything that we do, we have to be reminded that there is a plan ahead of our plans that God has for each one of us. There is that one reason that is so important for us to live for, according to the purposes of God.

Romans 12:3 says, “For I say through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” This is the only accurate way to understand ourselves and understand who God is to us and what He does for us.

Whenever you ask yourself if you are doing the right thing, sit back, look at your job description and balance it off with what you were told to do. Often times we have made mistakes that we have been placed in positions and used them for our own gain. We need to live our lives accepting God’s love for us.

We should get into a position where God stands for us and the enemy can’t come to take us away. Let us reflect about the things we have done selfishly and bring repentance. These things have caused alot of differences in our society. People are living in pain because they keep living in the flesh and not according to what the spirit of God desires of us.

Let us not bring this perspective that people were brought into earth by accident. We are where we are simply because we have chosen to take those paths either because of our ways and not according to God’s will. We are encouraged to pray for the generations from which we came from so that we create a smooth path for our children.

As we live our lives according to our purposes;

  • We are what we are because we are perfectly designed according to God’s will. It is not by accident. Sometimes our tongues have been used wrongly and we find parents who regret giving birth to certain children.

We are what we are for a reason and this reason is well known to God and it is upon us to ask the Lord for the reason as to why we were created.

  • Often times we sit back as individuals and we curse a certain person in the position they have and the decisions they take and we see such people progressing. Such happens because we have failed to understand God’s plans for our lives. Let us live lives not full of regret but lives that will make us live joyfully within God’s love and not according to our own plans.
  • The parents we have are the ones God chose. Let us live comfortably knowing that God has placed us in the right families.
  • No matter how we may feel, our families bear the master seal of what we are. This master seal bears the plans of God that we end up living. When we are leaving our families, there is a parent’s blessing that we need for us to be blessed. Our parents were ordained with this master seal for us to be a blessing in the world. Jesus came to do what His Father sent Him to do.
  • Let us live intentional lives this year and for the rest of our lives living according to the purposes of God. The only time we can realize the true answer is through seeking God.

Isaiah 44:2 says, “Thus says the LORD who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: “Fear not, O Jacob My servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.”

Even before we were born, God knew us and knew what was ordained for us. The job descriptions are there but we sometimes take our own roots.

Let us seek repentance from the Lord for which ever way that we have used our tongues. We go into repentance seeking and asking God to know our real purpose and to seek guidance for what we should do so that we can live purpose driven lives and lives according to God’s will.

We need to speak to ourselves and know that God created us uniquely. We should speak to our hearts and know that we were created because God loves us. It is not an accident that we are living. May we live according to God’s purpose and be appreciative that we were brought into this world. May we realize the true meaning of life, physical appearance and the personalities within us.
